Christmas means calls home and... all your investigators disappear!

So…this week was full of finding again, which is fine because it gave us a good reason to give out the Light the World fliers from the church initiative.  A lot of people this week were more interested in taking pictures with us than listening to our message :(

Christmas week means everyone who speaks Mandarin will go back to Mainland to visit family.  All our investigators went to mainland and everyone at the parks where we go finding was all Cantonese. So we did not have a very successful week, but that is okay the mission life has it's ups and downs!

We, as Mandarin missionaries, were able to go caroling this week and it was fun!  A lot of people would stop and take pictures of us foreigners singing. in Chinese too!  Or maybe it was because I sounded like Beyonce? haha joking.  They loved it though.  I know we tend to sing the Christmas songs not paying attention to what we are actually singing, but the words are so powerful. "Joy to the world, the Lord has come, let Earth receive Her king."  We were lucky enough to share our testimonies of our Savior through song.

Sorry for a not very exciting week, but I was grateful that I could call my family this week.  It really makes me appreciate all the support and love that has been sent my way!  I am grateful for the knowledge of eternal families and that through this gospel we know that we can be together for time and all eternity! Families are forever and I am so grateful for mine!

Wo ai nimen!

Here in Hong Kong church was only an hour (Sacrament meeting).  I do not remember church being like that in America, but I thought it was funny.
